A specialized type of traction used to reduce mechanical nerve compression and lower disc pressure. This technique is effective with Disc herniations/protrusions, disc bulges, pinched nerves, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, and many other conditions. Automated axial traction is another form of traction that we offer.
We specialize in corrective care, which is restoration of normal posture and spinal misalignment using a technique called chiropractic biophysics or CBP. This is an x-ray based technique that can make permanent changes to the shape of the spine, using specialized equipment. This type of care has a wide application but is especially effective for injury/trauma - car accidents, and chronic cases. We find and correct the underlying cause!
We use a hands on approach to restore joint mobility and reduce nerve root irritation. A high velocity low amplitude thrust is applied to the joint involved.
A handheld instrument delivers a force to the affected joint. This can be used when traditional osseous adjustments are contraindicated, and a low force technique is necessary.
A probe that combines electric stimulation therapy with heat or cold. The 2 modalities together act synergistically to mobilize soft tissues. The probe is a handheld instrument that is used directly on the affected problem area of the body to break up muscle knots/trigger points and mobilize soft tissues. Useful in providing pain relief along with promoting healing.
